Next week is going to be an incredibly busy one at the Library. The Marshall Bullock Summer Reading Program kicks off with “Sowing the Seeds of Reading” on Tuesday morning at 10:30. Believe me when I say that this year’s program is going to be wild! Between magicians, crafts, Saturday Family Days, Teen Console Games and Pokemon, we are offering something for everyone!

Also, next Monday will be the first day for our new full-time staff member, Charles Nagel. Charles comes to us from Chesterfield County, where he has worked part-time for the past several years. He has a special affinity for working with children, and he has just enrolled in a masters degree program in Library Science. You can meet him in the library nearly every day, so stop by and say hi.
