and we are never giving them back. Really.

 The Library’s new patron cards have arrived. They are very pretty cards designed for us by a local graphic artist. When you turn your old card in, you get a credit card sized plastic card and two key-chain fobs. The replacement fee for lost cards will remain one dollar. Remember, a policy change last April has limited the number of times you may use your identification in lieu of your library card to only three times in a calendar year.

 Get your new card the next time you come into the Library. They are beautiful… and I *think* that they may wash better… although I still don’t recommend that you try!
