TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
- EXPERT HISTORIAN LEADERSHIP: Walk the battlefield alongside knowledgeable park interpreters revealing the tactical maneuvers of April 6, 1865.
- HISTORIC HILLSMAN HOUSE: Step inside the preserved 19th-century home that served as a field hospital during and after the battle as well as the birthplace of Dr. Robert Russa Moton.
- THE ROAD TO APPOMATTOX: Discover how the events at Sailor’s Creek set the stage for the Confederate surrender just three days later.
