Author and historical John Meyers will be visiting for a free author talk and book signing.

His book, Silver, is a historical novel set in Amelia County, VA during the last year of the Civil War and the first years of Reconstruction. It tells the story of two teenagers: a white boy and a black girl, who together must figure out how to grow up and find their way in the strange, challenging aftermath of slavery.

This program is in collaboration with the Amelia County Historical Society.
