Teen Movie Night
Come watch a free movie on the Library Lawn! Bring a chair or blanket for seating, and we'll provide the snacks. The movie will be projected on a blow-up screen outdoors. This event is in collaboration with the Amelia County Sheriff's Department, who will be on-site during the movie. Like many of our programs, the movie night is sponsored by the JLHPL Friends of the Library.

Indigenous Studies Group
All are welcome to join the Indigenous Studies Group each week for meaningful discussion on the heritage and culture surrounding Indigenous peoples of the United States and beyond. Sometimes the group hosts presenters for further studying and research. Tea is provided. This group started as the Book Club, and in 2024 rebranded and changed direction due to collective participant interest.
