Do you have ancestors who fought in or supported the American Revolutionary War? Learn how to successfully research and document the lineage and military service of your ancestors. This program is presented by the Daughters of the American Revolution and in collaboration with Amelia County's American Revolutionary War 250 Committee.
Learn how to paint a botanical pattern with watercolors on canvas with local artist and teacher, Michele Hayghe. Materials will be provided for the first 10 participants, and everyone after is welcome to stay to learn. This program is in conjuction with the state library's Cultivating History traveing display, which will be available for viewing in the library from January 3 - April 15.
Studio Two Three, an art education non-profit based out of Richmond, will show participants how to print an Amelia County map design onto a tote bag that can be taken home. Materials will be provided for the first 20 participants to arrive.
