This workshop will cover SBA’s overview of programs and the HUBZone designation. Joining the HUBZone program makes your business eligible to compete for the program’s set-aside contracts. HUBZone-certified businesses also get a 10% price evaluation preference in full and open contract competitions. HUBZone-certified businesses can still compete for contract awards under other socio-economic programs.

Shredding Event at James Hamner Library

Document Destruction of Virginia will be on-site for secure document shredding. Attendees can witness their documents being destroyed. Staples and paperclips are acceptable, but no 3-ring binders or bulky metal items. To ensure fair access, shredding is limited to 2-4 boxes per person.
