Botanical Watercolor Painting Workshop

***RESCHEDULED FROM JANUARY***Learn how to paint a botanical pattern with watercolors on canvas with local artist and teacher, Michele Hayghe. Materials will be provided for the first 10 participants, and everyone after is welcome to stay to learn. This program is in conjuction with the state library’s Cultivating History traveing display, which will be available for viewing in the library from January 3 – April 15.

We’re joined by the Richmond Bonsai Society for a Bonsai workshop, teaching participants about pruning, wiring, and growing techniques that come from the ancient Japanese art of Bonsai.
