Dog Day at the Library


Amelia County Animal Control is bringing doggos to the Hamner Public Library! Dogs will be outside on the Library Lawn for people to meet and potentially adopt. Some dogs can be brought inside for kids to read a story to. Come play with furry friends, and consider taking one home!

Youth Book Club


Our newest book club for middle grade-level readers! The club will meet every second Thursday of the month and will listen to the audiobook reading of Eragon. Holly Jolly Day Camp


Feeling festive? Join Virginia Cooperative Extension – Amelia and the James L. Hamner Public Library for our 1st annual “Holly Jolly Day Camp” on Thursday, December 21st. Saturday Storytime
