Join Us for Storytime & Crafts at the Library! Bring your little ones for a fun-filled storytime featuring engaging tales, followed by a hands-on craft activity! Perfect for young readers and creative minds. No registration required—just drop in and enjoy!

Local children’s author Ashton Bohannon will read her two picture books to kids! Her Christian books are Alexander’s Journey with Jesus and Avalynn’s Royal Inheritance. Storytimes are recommended for kids ages 1-6. Her books will be available for purchase after the program, by cash, check, or card. Be sure to get them signed!
Storytime
Come for a picture book reading and craft or activity, recommended for children 1-6 years old. Rotating librarians and guest readers will do storytime every Friday, except for holidays or library closures. Sophia the READ dog will be here once a month. Other guest readers will be announced on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We hope to see you there!
Storytime with Sssnakes
Amelia County 4-H Agent L.K. Mondrey will bring a snake or two for kids to see, ask questions about, and potentially touch. We will read a snake story book recommended for children 1-6, and then the kids will be able to interact with the snakes. If the adults are frightened by snakes, please let us know and you may be able to leave the room for the interaction part.
