DESCRIPTION:Join fellow gardeners for the 5th Annual Plant and Seed Swap at the James L. Hamner Public Library! Bring seeds\, seedlings\, or plants to swap and trade—or simply come to meet other gardening enthusiasts and get inspired for the growing season. \nNew This Year – Soil Sample Drive:\nVirginia Cooperative Extension will be on-site to share information about soil sampling. Pick up soil sample boxes before or during the event and drop them off at the Amelia Cooperative Extension Office (16360 Dunn St.\, Suite 202\, Amelia) by May 1\, 2026 to have them shipped for free. \nSoil Analysis Cost: \nHomeowner samples (lawn\, garden\, etc.): $10 per sample \nProduction samples (pasture\, hayfield\, crop field): FREE\nFree shipping applies only to completed samples returned by May 1\, 2026. \nAdditional Information:\nNot sure how to collect a soil sample?
